Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS), a global leader in peristaltic pumps and associated fluid path technologies, will showcase its latest chemical metering and heavy-duty hose pump solutions at the Water Equipment Show (WES), taking place at the Telford International Centre, UK, on 14th May. Visitors to stand F107-108 will discover how WMFTS’ precision-engineered peristaltic pumps support more sustainable and efficient water and wastewater treatment processes.

On display will be the Qdos® range of chemical metering and dosing pumps, designed to deliver reliable, accurate and cost-effective performance. With flow rates ranging from 0.1 mL/min to 600 L/hr, including the high-flow Qdos H-FLO, these pumps eliminate the need for ancillary equipment while maintaining an accuracy of ±1% and repeatability of ±0.5%. This level of precision helps reduce chemical consumption, lower operating costs and minimise emissions associated with chemical handling and delivery.

WMFTS will also highlight its Bredel hose pumps, engineered to handle abrasive sludge, paste and slurries with 100% volumetric accuracy. Capable of flow rates up to 108 m³/hr at pressures up to 16 bar, Bredel pumps can transfer slurries with a solids mass concentration of up to 80%. The APEX™ hose pump from Bredel provides a robust solution for chemically aggressive and abrasive applications up to 8 bar. The high flow of the APEX pump means less wear on the precision machined hose element, resulting in longer service intervals. Maintenance is simplified to a quick, in-place hose change, minimising downtime.

In addition, Gavin MacGregor, Account Manager at Watson-Marlow, will deliver a presentation titled “Standardising Excellence: Qdos Pumps and the Future of Water Equipment”. The session will explore how precision dosing technologies can enhance operational efficiency, improve sustainability and support standardisation across water treatment applications.

Key topics will include:

  • The role of Qdos pumps in sustainable water management
  • How modular design simplifies maintenance and improves reliability
  • The benefits of standardising dosing equipment for compliance and cost savings

“Water and wastewater operators are under increasing pressure to improve efficiency while meeting stricter environmental targets,” said Gavin MacGregor. “At WMFTS, we’re focused on helping customers simplify their dosing processes and lower operating costs, without compromising on accuracy or reliability. WES provides a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how our technologies can support more consistent, sustainable operations across a wide range of applications.”

Visit stand F107–108 to discuss your fluid management needs and see how WMFTS can support efficient and sustainable water treatment operations.
