Quantics Biostatistics transitions to employee ownership

Edinburgh-based consultancy is latest Scottish company to move to EOT.

Edinburgh, UK, 23rd August 2021 / Sciad Newswire / Edinburgh-based Quantics Biostatistics is the latest Scottish company to change to an employee ownership model. Quantics is a biostatistical solutions provider to clients developing new medicines in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors and was established in 2002 by Ann Yellowlees.

The transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) is an important milestone that recognises, rewards and empowers the employees who are integral to Quantics’ continued success. There are currently around 150 employee-owned companies operating in Scotland, with the Scottish Government targeting 500 by 2030. Employee-owned businesses are predicted to play a vital role in the economic rebound after COVID-19 by keeping jobs, wealth and talent in Scotland.
