Becky has a degree from Oxford University and during her career she worked as Membership Director at BioMed Central, took senior marketing roles at Xrefer, Sage Publications and Macmillan's Nature Publishing Group, and most recently was part of the team that founded Art Finder which is an art discovery website bringing together a growing collection of fine art images and social functionality to allow users to share their favourites via Facebook and Twitter. Artfinder also makes apps for smartphones, iPads and other tablet devices. Her areas of expertise include social media, new technologies, events, social gaming, publishing, open data and user engagement.
